About

The JB Dryden Company was founded in 2007 to provide editorial services to the fantasy and science fiction small press community. It has since expanded to include business, technical, and educational editing work.

The goal of the JB Dryden Company is to provide professional editing for all styles of writing and a range of projects.

Staff Bios

James Boone Dryden

James Boone Dryden is the owner of the JB Dryden Company. He received a Bachelor’s of Arts in English-Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2005 and has worked as a freelance editor since 2004. He has worked in the capacity of Assistant, Associate, and Managing Editor at various publications since 2004, including Carnifex Press, Flashing Swords E-zine, and Community Connections News.

Boone Dryden is also an active participant in the local writing community as the founder of Milwaukee Writers Workshop. He is also a member (and service coordinator) in the WRWA, founder of WriteCamp, and active member of both MARN and ACES.
